FREE Alignment Checks from Haweka
Haweka is currently offering one free alignment check to dealers and CV/PSV operators, with over 20 vehicles, that are considering bringing wheel alignment in-house.
The new Axis200 wheel alignment machine measures a tri-axle in less than10 minutes - it's able to do this due to its laser measuring head and easy to use magnetic chassis scales.
Director of Haweka UK, John Pullin, said: "In the past, alignments were a case of trial and error, with repeated adjustments and re-measurement.
The Axis200 uses a combination of high-tech lasers, with sophisticated software, so the alignment can be done right first time. By offering free alignment checks we are hoping to demonstrate to fleet operators how economical having their own alignment equipment can be an benefit from reduced runningcosts."
Every free check undertaken Haweka will provide a detailed print out to the customer of adjustments required and any necessary recommendations.
When wheels are aligned correctly, as well as fuel and tyre benefits emissions are reduced, there is less wear and tear on mechanical components, drivers report reduced fatigue and tyres are less likely to overheat.

Hunwick Engineering Ltd: Transporting Reduced Operating Costs
Hunwick Engineering Ltd in Halstead, Essex has invested in a Haweka Axis200 wheel aligner with trailer kit to enable them to ensure the alignment on new trailers is accurate before they leave the factory.
The Axis200 is the leading alignment system in the UK, taking less than 10 minutes to accurately measure every angle on a truck in the as driven position - there is no need to lift the vehicle. The alignment system can be used on twin steer, rigid, semi-trailers and buses.
Martyn Wood, Technical Director at Hunwick's said:"Poor wheel alignment increases tyre drag on the road wasting rubber and increasing fuel use. By aligning the wheels and axles the trailer becomes more streamlined and drives as we intended. The Axis200 was specially adapted for our range of trailers and is used at least three times a week. The aligner is easy to use and has reduced idle time and costs in the workshops waiting for third parties to arrive to check tracking."
